Closure of Lincoln Road stop, Abingdon Road (26th April 2017)
On Wednesday 26th April, between the hours of 09:00 and 11:00, Lincoln Road stop on Abingdon Road (Oxford bound only) will be suspended due to emergency water works. During the time of this closure, passengers are advised to use the Chatham Road or Lake Street stops as alternatives. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.Where’s the affected Lincoln Road stop?
Closure of Peat Moors Stop, Headington (25th April - 12 June 2017)
From Tuesday 25th April until Monday 12th June, Peat Moors stop will be suspended due to nearby roadworks. During the time of this closure, passengers wishing to travel on the city4/4A/4B/4C towards Oxford or BROOKESbusU5 toward Marston are advised to use the Warren Crescent bus stop as an alternative. Squitchey Lane Stop Closure (24th - 28th April 2017)
From Monday 24th April until Friday 28th April, the Squitchey Lane bus stop on Banbury Road will be suspended due to roadworks in the area. This will affect our city2 and park&ride500 services travelling towards the city centre. During the time of this closure, passengers are advised to use our temporary stop located past Hernes Road as an alternative. Tours of Viridor Ardley Energy Recovery Facility
On Saturday 17th June you can take a trip to Viridor’s Energy Recovery Facility at Ardley and learn all about sustainable waste management. You will be taken on a guided tour of the site and visit the state-of-the-art visitor centre and find out what happens to your rubbish after it gets collected from Oxford! Oxford Bus Company will be providing free transport to Ardley so no need to worry about getting there! Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment. Please note that all visitors must be over 8 years old for Health and Safety reasons.Click here for more information
Castle Street - One Way Traffic Flow (from 9th January for approximately 12 weeks)
From Monday 9th January for approximately 12 weeks, Castle Street will be subject to one way traffic flow in the direction from Old Greyfriars Street towards New Road. This is due to gas works for the new Westgate Shopping Centre. This will affect our city4/4A/4B/4C, city5, city8/9, city13, park&ride400, BROOKESbusU1 and BROOKESbusU5 services.Click here for more information
